According to research from the University of Oxford, applicants from minority ethnic backgrounds have to send 60% more applications to get a positive response from an employer than a white person of British origin. This means people with ‘non-white’ sounding names are being screened out before they make it to the interview stage, holding back their career opportunities before they can even start.Watch film
